I selling one of my 60l conicals. It's a plastic conical tank from tanks uk with the lid replaced with a marine inspection hatch, 1/2" ball valve side outlet and 3/4" ball valve bottom outlet. The lid has a copper thermo well and two 10mm copper fittings for airlock etc. Comes with a stainless steel stand. I've used it about 10 times so it's tested and works well. I bought two of these but really only need one. Cost at least €250 when you include the delivery, plumbing bits, the lid and the stand.
Sell for €150 to fund other stuff.

Interested. Would it fit in a tall larder fridge? Any pics?
On tap: Flanders, Gose,
Fermenting: Oatmeal Brown, 200ish Fathoms,
Ageing: bretted 1890 export stout.
To brew:  2015 RIS, Kellerbier, Altbier.

Hello stranger!
I've seen it, it's a beaut, but fukin huge.

I'll post some dimensions later but it's a bit wide for a regular domestic fridge. I actually have a 10mm copper coil which fits inside the tank, with inlet and outlet through the lid. I intended to run a beer cooler through this for temp control. I never tried it but it should work and could be really good. No fridge needed which would save a load of space.

Clever, I like.
You could hook you a pumped mixer to regulate temps via STC.

christhebrewer

Yeah, I had planned on using the pumped chilling loop from the beer cooler with an stc switching it on and off.
If you don't have a beer cooler you could run some plumbing through the ice box on a domestic fridge with a small pump and an stc. I could include a pump if anyone wanted to try this.
The copper coil is fitted through the lid so the coil and lid go in the dish washer for clean and sterilisation.
I'll try this system with my other conical some time. I actually built a foam box and put a fridge element in it which also works really well. It fits under a counter too.

Ciderhead

I was gonna say I thought yours was in an insulted box.

If its too big for a large fridge il have to pass. Cheers. Good luck with the sale Chris.

Pics are too hi tech for me but I'll try. Meanwhile you'll see it on www.tanksuk.co.uk.
I can email pics if you email me. chrisallen@eircom.net.

christhebrewer

Ok, it's 480 diameter and 800 tall inc the bottom valve. There are some fridges 500 wide so if you can find one tall enough you're in business!

Ciderhead

That would fit in my larder fridge,
Noooooooooo she would kill me.
I can't as would reduce output by 50% as I can fit 2 carboys in at the mo :(
