You really do if its a BJCP sanctioned exam.

Is the meter electronic - a lot of people have been looking for something that can be used in situ and over time!
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

Beerbuddha

It is electronic. Panic stations here sorry cant type fast too much going on you know what brew day is like plus kids and wifey in ones ear !. hops weighed and marked as per recipe. plus camera takes some pics slightly over 1000kb so have to retake pics.

anton par density metre....hand held battery operated.....i think they are expencive.....simply sucks the sample up and gives you density of a substance like wort..petrol..oil etc in plato. adjust for temp also.

time to fill carboy.....the trick is to control cold water in to chiller and hot wort out into carboy....i control this with valve on inflow and outflow....very important with this system is to have a thrumometer as you will need both hands on the valves so no way to hold a hand help temp prob in the carboy.

Takes 5 mins to cool from boiling to 20c best bit of kit i ever bought and 100% that wort is sterile ! I added yeast no pic and then put in oxygen airstone. I placed it on end of stainless pipe as i found when connected to platic tube it tends to try float upwards and im not getting oxygen all the way to botttom but prob no much difference in the scheme of things

Thats it all done ...time for majic to happen in fermentation fridge. I think i should have made the starter sooner but we shall see there is always something to go slightly wrong
