Liffey Brewers Dublin Area Competition - BJCP Judges required

Evening folks. As you may be aware, I am currently organising the Liffey Brewers Dublin Area Competition which is a BJCP registered event taking place on Saturday the 1st of February in the Lucan County, Spa Hotel on the N4. I currently have 4 judges signed up (Saruman, brenmurph, Kellie, and Will_D), and I'm looking for another 6 volunteers as well as a couple of stewards for the day.

The competition will be judged to BJCP standards and is open to everyone, the only restriction being that it is 2 beers maximum per person and there is a maximum of 50 beers to be entered on a first come, first served basis. Entry is €2 per beer and its winner takes all. More info will be released soon regarding how to enter etc.

According to the BJCP website,

Judges earn points at a rate of 0.5 judging points per session, but the following limitations apply:

    Judges earn a minimum of 1.0 point per competition.
    Judges earn a maximum of 1.5 points per day.

and also

Stewards receive 0.5 non-judging points per day with a maximum of 1.0 points per competition. Participants may not earn both Judge and Steward points in a single competition.

These points accumulate to determine your rank as outlined here - http://www.bjcp.org/membergd.php#rank so the more judging you perform, the more points you gain.

Unfortunately some of us have to work at weekends. I'm due to be working on 1st Feb  , but if anything changes I'd be happy to judge or steward on the day.

Folks, there is room for two more judges for this Saturday if anyone is interested. I have enough judges already but can fit in two more if people want the judging points. I can't take just one extra judge though as it will leave me with an uneven number
