Just ordered some 500 and 530 from HBC, so will get another on Sun/Mon!

Mine is also the same colour!

Damien M

Meant to say! if we end up with too much on the day of Barrel fill we could always bottle the remaining to compare and contrast?? Take a litre of each donor and Corny it for bottling? I'm suggesting so I'll take the bottling of the blend!

iMark if you make a batch, it will be accepted! We are currently hovering around the 160 liters for a  220 keg (standing to be corrected) with 2 other double uppers so the more the full er er!

Naysayers speak now!

How much special b do you need tube? I have about 400g of it. I'm in bray if its worth it unfortunately I don't have any Candi sugar and doubt I have the yeast

Damien M

On the Candi Sugar, I think most of us used a 50 50 split of White Candi and Dark Candi, and on tasting them ...... they are white sugar and Dark/brown Sugar so in the absence of Candi normal sugar will do, also mentioned in Radical Brewing as Candi is not a requirement. A dark ish sugar is equilivant

I'm  happy to give ingredients to tube and let him brew. I've a bit on at the moment and one catch is enough for me anyway!

Ciderhead

If you're stuck, I have a capital Tee so can step in.
Consider it a contract brew ;-)

Wow. Sorry lads, I'm out.

How come? Whats changed I don't understand :(

Is there anyone else on the East Coast that wants to have a go before we ask John as this is just dragging now ?

johnrm

The logistics on this could be a bit hairy and free time may not allow me to brew this for another 2 weeks.  :(

Damien M

I'll get another on this Sun. Getting 500 and 530 tomorrow.  Wanted to get the Bastogne just for the Airbourne hell of it but next time perhaps.

Will_D

This is getting a bit silly.

How come after so long after the initial time line was posted are we this short of a fill?

Anything brown and alcoholic would do probably as after all the other 35 gallons will even out most playing fields.

We need a desicion soon or we may as call the whole thing off.

How many gallons are we short?

Can someone get a brew on in the next two days?

If not lets just enjoy our own that we have brewed.
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing
