Full results only after the 22nd in Cork as 1st second and 3rd are still wide open.

Garry

Thanks CH for keeping us all posted through out the day. Looking forward to the cork leg now. Well done to all so far. Looks like dodge and bren are on a roll? Enjoy the rest of the night  ;)

I understand why overall winner can't be announced but are you saying category winners won't be announced either?

No problem with category winners they were all awarded medals today.
Posting all scores will compromise and undermine the total result, a major part of which is yet to come from the cork element of the show :(

Eeh category winner here :) :)  :)

Please have the builders in at the county to enlarge the headspace on the front door.
Delighted to see Mr Dempsey winning one of the hardest beers to brew.

Simon

What was that tgen?

Just wanna know who won 1st 2nd and 3rd for the categories judged yesterday. Not wanting points or anything.

Ciderhead

Hi Simon 16 categories announced yesterday, Rossa has the list but is at work today.
Give him another 24hours cheers.

BrewCity

Just curious - were medals only awarded for category winners, or were they awarded for all beers scoring within a certain point range?

Partridge9

Each category of beers gets scored and the points are inputted.

The top scoring beers are promoted to the next round - the medal round (mini-bos).

Typically this is the top three beers (but if there are several tables putting forward 3 beers - there could be 12 beers in this round)

These beers are then re-evaluated (from scratch) and positioned in 1 / 2 / 3.

FYI - we inputted all the scores into the system 'live' as it were, unfortunately the system doesn't publish the scores as the competition is still in progress.

Question. Is there 1/2/3 for every category? Or are some categories combined? Or are there medals for sub category?

Ciderhead

I think it's better before any more comment is made that we wait for input from the Registrar.
The competition is not yet over.

Will_D

I think its wrong for Judges to get involved with the running of competition.

Judges Judge!

Registrars Register!

The Competion Commitee?,  err, well it "Committees"

Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing
