Picked up this GROWLER (yes Delzep, a Growler  :P) a while back and decided it was time to tattoo it.

It has a very durable Logo on it, some kind of tough resin/plastic coating that wouldn't come off with nail polish remover, I wanted to take it off without damaging the Brushed stainless finish...(well I just wanted to take off the rear logo crap). To remove this I used sodium bicarbonate (Bread Soda) fired through a sand blaster I picked up in Lidl...It did the job perfectly, very gentle abrasion.

Then I order some 'Vinyl Matt sheets' that you can print on from a UK crowd
http://www.photopaperdirect.com/
You could probably find someone who supplies from Ireland if you spent more than 5 minutes on google.

So I printed out my Image

and stuck it on

Now for the Hard part(take your time here), No Homebrews/Hangovers involved, cut out the negative

Then load your trusty sandblaster with fine grain sand and blast away (It doesn't take long)

The Hop Grenade - I used Sand Blasting because of the Brushed finish on this, There is a much harder etch which provides better contrast....Electro-etching is fine on a polished finish, but this needed the extra contrast.

By the way, and this is very uncompetive of me, If anyone wants the use of the sandblaster and can get to Rush, Dublin, They're welcome to use it... ;D ;D

Bread soda through the sandblaster? I've heard of soda blasting but never thought oof it with the old lidl blaster :)

It turned out sweet!  :)
