After intensive negotiations myself and SWIMBO are coming to this.  :) Don't know if we will be able to be there for 10am (more like lunchtime) but we would be staying late.

No glassware needed we have at least 100 :) we will be asking everyone who drinks in volume to bring 4-6 beers as back up (homebrew or the offy), thats all, normally we wouldnt ask this but this is a huge event and we simply havnt enough beer to fill everyone all weekend. I'm just hoping our 15 gallons of session ale brewed for the event (9 gall real ale in cask) will go a long way but we have 35-40 guests, most are good drinkers :o ??? ::) so we are in fear of beverage bankruptcy at 9pm or earlier if Saruman is in good form ;)...not to mention a half dozen others with reputations for being competent consumers ;) I wont name any more names ;D but all Ill say is we seem to have members travellin from all over to this one.

So just bring urselves and a few beers as above to act as back up if our 15 gallons run out. And Kellie never says no to a small, inexpensive contribution to our line up of food feasts e.g a cake or some salad or even better some culinary delight ye put some passion into, which is commonly done. Never ceases to amaze us how many people have specialities, cakes, candles, honey, herbs, spices, home made dishes. Blueshed done a great job last event ( small event ) twas a grand little bit of soakage half way through the day :)

@Kellie: Its time to cut down his River Cottage Viewing, he's start to pun like Hugh FW!
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

Right folks heres the plan.: We should have 50 guests throughout the day many overnight. Its a big homrbrew party / bbq/ brewday :)
Weather is good and the venue is set. Beerhall in the polytunnel ;) garden will be in use as weather is good forcast.
Cask ale is perfect and time well so should be fabulous. We have 15 gallons of great beer on offer.

12- till 4pm ......(including clean up) 40 ltr beetroot lager brewed and being pumped to conical in the temp controlled chamber.
4-5pm .............grub up, tuck in to Kellies famous feasts, ye wont be dissapointed :)
5-6.30 pm.........Beer tasting...those who have some beers bring a few along for appraisel (or slagging ;D)
6-30pm.................BBQ will b asmokin :) We ask that ye bring your own favorite BBQ foods if possible and cook urself we wont be buyin T-bone steaks for yis we will supply the usual saus & burger basics, but please bring a contrib for the BBQ
8pm  till late.. ...............chill around the campfire, drink beer..be happy, celebrate life....we only get one :)

???am ..........campfire goes out when last person falls asleep by it as we did in Dodges weekender :) ;) :D ;D

Next morning our Whistling bird haven will certainly sing you to the breakfast table ( they may even be singing us to sleep if ye last that long) our famous big brekfast ( thanks kellie and volunteers again) few beers for those not driving.
Sauna and steam-room will be available to really add to your weekend escape. Sundays we chill, no one has to go home at any specific time so ye can enjoy the post-party calm.

This is a big event we have a lot of guests circa 40 we expect 20+ to be stayin over.

Rules / requests are simple in order to make it a perfect event...
1.   Be nice and  welcoming to all guests (some are new to brewing and the club), the neighbours and the venue.  We dont have a noise Curfew.... we can enjoy ourselves, many of the neighbours will be here late ;)
2.   Have fun and enjoy the event
3.   Relax and chill in this haven of a venue, I feel very privaleged to have it and to share it :)
4.   Bring a contribution to the BBQ depending on what you like..cook it yourself or have our chef do it for ya.
5.   Bring a contribution of beer 4-6 bottles or cans as back up. We have supplied 15 gallons of session beer + samples + wine but we cannot guarantee free beer all night for everyone as it is such a big homebrew event and many of you have reputations for drinking more than the chief medical officer's recomendations ;D. So this time help us out by ensuring theres enough beer some some homebrew or something from the offie.
6.   Feel free to bring some nibbles / snacks / crisps or any specialties e.g sauces, soup, cake, desert or special dish you are good at. Kellie will appreciate that and it will help keep the food flowing...its a long day and night into next day brekfast.
7 If you see a quail egg in the henhouse you can take it and eat it but FFS hands off the quails...we need them to lay eggs >:(

Right party starts at 7pm tomora...friday... c ye if ur here

Bastards! Just bastards! I'll be thinking of yez when I'm swearing at some flooring I've to put down on Saturday.

Dont stress folks, u dont need to bring 10 pints and dont go to too much trouble. We are having a beer tasting around a big table so an idea might be rather than bringing a 5 litre keg why not find a half decent beer, maybe something unusual or maybe even just a few bottles of urquell, Budvar or an unuaual english ale or german lager for the tasting party. If you have a homebrew bring it by all means for tasting to pass around the big table.
The day is about beer banter, socialising, tasting, DRINKING, and sharing the passion for all things good beer and good food, even tho we may just break the weekly allowance for saturated fat, salt and alcohol  :o >:(  :) ;) :D ;D

If u do bring mini keg no prob we do have a fridge that will cater for plenty of cans, bottles and minikegs

Ah its no bother, we are bringing the car so I will just leave it all in the boot and go and get it as required. I'm bringing the last few sets of these if anyone wants them.  That's why I was asking you about glassware before, I was going to throw a conical your way for your trouble if you needed one.
