We need to start thinking about the May Meet.

As well as the Gi-Normous Barrel cup, I have received a box of beer for the Rebel Brewers.
Big thanks to Dean McGuinness at Premier International for this.

Here are the beers...
Widmer Brothers Old Embalmer '13 670ml
Widmer Brothers Rasberry Russian '13 670ml
Urthel Samaranth 330ml
Urthel Saisoniere 330ml
Urthel Hop-it 330ml 330ml
Hogans Dry Cider 500ml
Hogans Medium Cider 500ml
Hogans VIntage Perry 2010 500ml
Black Sheep Progress Limited Edition 750ml
Bosteels - Deus - Brut de Flandres 750ml
Brown Paper Bag Gose 330ml
Brown Paper Bag Pleasant 330ml
Brown Paper Bag Big Red 330ml

I suggest we bring a few to each of the next few meets and share out samples then.

Want to try and organise something out at my place? Will be brewing this Saturday.

johnrm

Love to, however this Sat might be a bit short notice, I know I'm booked.
Meets tend to be at the end of the month, how are you fixed for Sat 24th?

LordEoin

Yeah, with the barrel filling on friday night and lee valley's thing on saturday, i'm sure a lot of people are running short on brownie points, although I'd love to come out for a brewday at your place some time :)

Bzfeale80

any update on a meet later this month?

johnrm

I can duck in for a bit on 23rd possibly...

LordEoin

23rd is good with me, hopefully my low ABV will be carbed up by then too

LordEoin

I have four spare 50ml vials of Danstar Nottingham Ale Yeast (WLP-039) if anyone wants/needs some.

donnchadhc

Possibly make this, have a really salty bitter. Was messing around with water treatment and my "hand slipped". Good example of what not to do.

I should be able to make it on Friday on what shall hopefully be my first of many meetings. Should I bring something along? I have the Hbc extra stout, and a turbo cider but that's only been in bottle forover a week. I'm drinking a glass of the stout now and loving it, bought ingredients to make a few brews in the next couple of days so would appreciate ideas. I look forward to meeting ye. I'm guessing it will be the Fran Well?

LordEoin

Yup Farn well :)
Bring soe of that stout, i'd love to try it. folks generally bring about 2 pint bottles so that there's enough for everyone to have a taster

Garry

I'm not going to make this one lads  :(

LordEoin

are there any more unwanted full bags of PISS JARS yeast vials around?
