Is ALL silicon tube food safe?

Anyone know about this?.... for example would this be classed as 'food safe'?:

I got a tiny wee pump on ebay... the diameter of this aquarium tube fits perfect to the pump (and is available in the local pet shop)

So is there different types of silicon tube.... food grade, medical grade, aquarium grade etc?

The way I look at it, tropical fish are finicky feckers. So if it's safe for them it's safe for beer.

I'm sure someone else will have a more scientific answer.

I got the tube anyway from the pet store... Works perfectly on a dry (wet) run with water.. will give it a go for the next brew.. and will report back if I experience any side effects over the next few years.
