Things to do in Connecticut???

Traveling over there in a few weeks and want to make a list?

Has anyone any experience of that neck of the woods and recommend Beery Things to do...... or avoid.

Also, any recommendations for Brew Stuff that can be got cheaper there, than here, and worth the luggage space (chuggers excluded)

Based north of Hartford but can travel!

Don't try going to the liquor store on a sunday! As was gutted when I realised the big one in Milford was closed when I went to stock up. Was in Hartford, and the town I was in was dry, but the town down the road wasn't, so not too bad.

Have only been to Conn to visit relatives a couple of times, so not an expert, and haven't bothered going that direction last couple of times, and have hung around in Boston.

You're pretty close to NY from Hartford though, so how about getting the train, or are you already spendin time in NY?

Been to NY a few times but might make it to Boston instead.  :
Have a road trip to Buffalo to fit in there too.
