Spreadsheet Help

I know we have some great Excel users here so a question:

Somehow, now whenever I create a new worksheet all the cells default to a currency format.

This is amajor pain the butt!

I cannot find out how to change this to say a general format!

Create a template - So a blank workbook with everything set the way you want. File - save as an xltx excel template named book
Copy that into C\:Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\XLSTART for excel 2010 and every workbook sheet you use should use that template from now on.

@ wilted...dere allright dem northsiders albeit a little cocky....been dere a few times so go for it and meet them up...but if u ever get a chance to come to  the best, most consistent, most organised group in the NHC hop on the green bus at the airport and get off at junction 13 / M7..
