Hi brewers, anybody got a source for bottle labels that can easily be removed for next brew at a reasonableprice?☺

Rossa

Where  are you based?

LordEoin

print them out on a lazer printer (toner doesn't run) and give the back a quick soak with milk.
milk dries like glue and the labels will fall off when soaked again on cleaning day :)

Qs

LordEoin

nope. Once it's dry it's fine.
Does powdered milk stink? ;)

Thanks for all replies. I'm in Cashel,Tipperary.

I was hoping for something pre-manufactured on a roll perhaps or a printing works that prints for micro breweries?

Staffordshire brewery in the UK are pretty cheap. Theres also labelworld (i think) in Dublin which we use at the brewery.
If youre in Cashel, we have a homebrew meetup and brewday in Thurles on the second Sunday every month. See the South Central page for info (http://www.nationalhomebrewclub.com/forum/index.php?board=53.0)

Thanks very much for this info. Unfortunately I will rarely if ever be able to attend the brew day in Thurles as I work nights all weekend and sleep by day. Bit of a nocturne, me.😐

It all depends on what sort of label you want:

1. Cheapest option; masking tape and a felt tip

2. Print your own in word or use a label site, print on plain A4, guilotine to size and fix with Pritt or milk

3. As above but use A4 sticky label paper

4. Get them done by the pros and pay the price!

I use A4 sheets of adhesive labels bought in Easons. I print them using a laser printer.
I use these also but they can be difficult to remove .
