Great idea for the fermentation chamber, have you actually extended your fridge with plywood yeah?
How does that work out? Was it hard to get a good seal at the doorway? Did you add any extra insulation other than the timber? And how does the fridge handle the extra load - like is the compressor running a lot?

Sorry for all the questions! I'm hoping to build a large kegerator and this idea could be perfect.
