I have been doing kit brewing for a while and bottling,  I recently got some taps,  corny,  cooler and a fridge.  My plan was to continue kit brewing with little additions to the kits (hacks).  But the geterbrewed all grain pack seems like real good value.  It seems that while kits are great,  all grain is a progression in terms of making great beer.  My question is... Is this all grain offer as good as it seems and is it possible to make decent beer with it alone,  in other words will I have to buy much more to properly start brewing all grain?

We believe that it's the best offer out there and a fantastic kit to introduce you into the all grain brewing arena, we are passionate about craft beer and want to help more people to make it, this BIAB starter kit makes it affordable and has all you need except for the bottles;

To be fair to your company I had no plans to change my kit brewing ways but this offer really seems too good to pass up.  Hence my post.  Making sure I'm not missing anything and looking for an impartial view

Garry

It looks like everything you would need for biab brewing alright. Mainly the boiler, grain bag and chiller. You are probably familiar with all the other bits from your kit brewing.

auralabuse

Thanks garry,  yeah I have everything for kit,  was just making g sure I was not embarking on a new spend fest

With regard to the wort chiller,  do I need a water supply?,  I have a 2 in 2 out beer cooler,  could this be used in combination with the chiller

Garry

I'm sure you could plumb the beer cooler up to the chiller alright. It would probably make it more efficient. Are you worried about the water charges?  :P

I'd keep it simple for your first brew though. Just connect it to the tap. It'll be one less thing to worry about  ;)

auralabuse

No,  not worried about the charges but I don't have a water supply in my man shed which houses the bar

Garry

Gotcha. Some people use a water butt with rainwater to supply their chillers. It might be an option for you?
