how do you know they're vintage?

Mc Doc

This caps were made in the middle 198x, in Russian.
Have you seen a similar sale in Europe?

I remember such stoppers were before 1990! Then they began to be used with plastic.

Can you confirm the source of the cork or original packaging to confirm that it's food grade not just industrial notice board cork crumb pressed and glued that's been punched out?
I'm interested in some if they are food safe

Ciderhead, we have gazillions of caps like these but took them off stock because our ones don't seal on 100% of the bottles. Some leak. When we looked closely at them, we found that the cork insert on some was "offset" which would explain why they won't seal.

We asked the manufacturers and they say they are often used for canning / jars / sealing hot food (where plastic would melt and contaminate the food). So they are defo 100% food safe. Let me know if you want some and I'll put them back on the site.
