Looking into it. Hopefully back live soon.

Just registered there.  How important is the drop point option? I'm not sure where I'll end up dropping mine yet, Ive a few bottles at my parents house in kerry and some in cork. I assume we'll get an entry number for each beer so they can be identified from that? So does it matter if a beer turns up at a different drop point?

No it doesn't it just helps us track those that aren't there and allows us work out where we need to send the big truck!

Back up again. The new fancy look Google Form wasn't too happy being embedded, the original version is back doing it's thing.

What would we do without our techie heads to keep things running. Do ye feel a kinship with Scotty or la Forge on the Star ship Enterprise :D

Lads, I think this could be reconsidered:

QuoteMead can be 1 x 330ml ... bottles

Is the 330ml botttle not a bit small? Not all meads are heavy sippers (not mine, unfortunately..  :-[ ) - some meads are 'hydromels', essentially 'session' meads.

Why is wine in 750ml, but mead in 330/500ml?

Sorry Bubbles way too much discussion on this topic already one person wants one thing and somebody wants something else time to move on.
Judges only need 100ml each to taste.
Probably for the last time this year meads will be grouped in with cider as in spite of the massive interest in the style we don't have the knowledge base or skillset as they like ciders are a whole subsection of BJCP.
We achieve the standard in Cider with commercial growers judging.
To do them proper justice more pull from members is required and that may be something you would like to progress through SCD in 2016?

I thought this was the place to ask questions?  ???

Fair enough, I'll move on!
