I'm new to brewing and have never racked a beer before.i have a european coopers lager fermenting for the past wk at 15 deg I'm just wondering when to change to secondary fermenter or will I leave it in the original fermenter for the whole duration. I've read about off tastes etc if left in original any advice be great cheers

Take a gravity reading and see how far along your fermentation is. when sg is the same for 3 days its done fermenting but give it a few more days for the yeast to drop (or cold crash if you have a fridge). I leave most beers around 3 weeks, 2 at minimum then bottle

Yeah, you'll be fine in primary :)
