Beer
1 is good, 2 is better, 3 is enough & 4 isn't half enough

The only real supplier of stainless plumbing fittings is BSS on the South Circular Road near Cork St

Sorry, Don't understand your requiremet:

1/2" to 3/8" compression fittings implies an inline reduction. (As in copper 1/2" to 3/4")
Where/what is the welding requirement?

Also for all SS fittings suggest you contact flowmax.ie on "de sout cide"!

Maybe

I looked at them and they are weld less and I was planning on welding them, they would do the job as a last resort also €15 each is pricey imo

I'm using them to repurpose my old ic as a herms coil... It being 3/8" and the cam locks being 1/2" female...
I'll try flowmax..
Cheers😄

Wait aren't compression fittings weldless?  Or am I missing something?

Sorcerers Apprentice

Not when they are passing through the wall of the HLT

I'm a bit confused now, I thought guys were using weldless kits like the above to modify their pots/boil kettles etc. ?

Sorcerers Apprentice

It's for to convert the 1/2" supply from the mash tun to the 3/8" coil of the herms

I've just checked with BSS and they don't carry stainless  compression fittings, so it looks like the Homebrew company is your man
