Wife says to me one day... "so do you love beer more than me?....
Naturally, I replied,...... making it or drinking it??😱😱

Propane is dangerous indoors, but it gives you more heat and works better at lower temperatures. Butane is ok for indoors
There's no such thing as bad beer - some just taste better than others

propane (aka patio gas it seems) is better for colder temps than butane.
My BBQ takes both propane or butane, as does my gas ring, so I've started moving to propane, have one of each cylinder at the moment but when the butane is gone I'll get a propane replacement.
AFAIK propane also burns hotter than butane.
Inside/outside isn't a concern for me.

Butane has a higher calorific value than propane, and burns cleaner. There is an issue in cold weather in that regulators can ice up. This isn't as far as I am aware an issue with propane. As for using burners inside, obviously adequate ventilation is a must - burning anything will give off carbon monoxide.

Gas is expensive. You will burn (no pun intended) through a ton of gas for a brew. It turned out to be way too expensive for me in the long run so I moved to leccy

You'll also want to build some redundancy into your system as there's nothing worse than wanting to BBQ and finding out your last brew eat up all the gas. Or even worse you're in the middle of a boil and the gas cuts out...

Which reminds me I need to get rid of my two propane tanks...
