No idea why people think it's a good April fools joke to say they are closing/retiring beers. Some people will take it at face value and it bites them in the ass in the long run.

Rumours can be deadly alright, the singer Paddy Reilly was once rumoured to have died a pauper and was buried in the US. Got so bad that he had to go on Radio to tell everyone that he was not dead .
