1st Club Meet in an Offie?

Evening all,

Garden County Brewers normally have their meetings in Hollands Lounge, Main St., Bray, but last Thursday we had our meeting in the off-licence.  Could this be a first for a club meet in Ireland?

Anyone who was at the GCB Irish Red Ale & NCB "I cant believe its not a lager" competition a few years back will remember the location.

I just wanted to share what a great spot it is to drop in for a beer, they have an unbelievable amount of beers to choose from. We were literally like kids in a candy shop - no corkage too was a nice touch. Great night had by all.

Never heard of drinking in an offie. Is drinking sales on site kosher?

AFAIK the pub licence covers the off licence premises.

They have 1 tap in the offie too - it was an O'Haras pale ale or IPA (can't remember) and it was served on Nitro.
