Beaverdale Californian White wine review

Have previously made a few cheaper white kits with middling to moderate results, so was interested in whether a bit of extra money would make a difference. Short answer is yes! Made as per instructions (including racking at day 5) and eventually bottled after 7 weeks - clearing certainly wasn't 'better' than cheaper kits. Nice straight from the bucket but after a month in bottle it has improved further. This is the first kit that I felt actually tasted like real white wine - I don't normally drink white but even I have knocked back a few glasses! Still some light sediment in the bottle - after several kits I definitely think filtering is required if you want a completely clear wine.

Thanks for the review.  I am fermenting a 7 day pinot at the moment.  One of the lads brought a bottle to brew club and we were very surprised with it. I am gonna give this one a go next.
