Would you like to see the NHC link up with other homebrew organisations?

Boeir recently joined the EBCU, and should the NHC look to join other European Homebrewers? There is no organisation that I am aware of, so maybe the NHC could break serious ground and be one of the founding members of a European group?

Alternatively the American Homebrewers Association is huge -- should we look to tie in with them? They run many many homebrew events and we could coincide events here.

Discover Ireland would probably be interested in the tourism aspect of either, and might support us.

Just throwing it out there...

I like the idea, have you registered the internationalhomebrewclub.com yet? We could definitely have a chat with the guys in the UK about linking up! And the yanks as well, they seem to know what they are at!

But on a list of priorities for me it is a low priority to be going international at this moment in time.

As a small aside/thread hijack, has anyone joined the Craft Brewings association? Or any other homebrew groups?

Don't you think that it's a little bit to early to join other organisation? Let us grow for a while, see how the things will go and then think about 'expansion' to oversea territories  ::)

QuoteBit early right now, but no harm in talking about it.
Point taken. Is that how would you like to see the NHC evolve? :P

I think I might sign up and see if there magazine is any good, wouldn't hurt to get some idea's from other people!

It's a pity you need to pay by cheque and send in a hard copy form, but I'm sure it will be worth £20 to get access to the forum and their magazine.

As I think I was the first to suggest this then: Yes a great idea to go international.

The US have a huge HB operation, fine, we would just be a very small fish in their pond.

Let us concentrate on the Euro end of the spectrum where we are a big fish already.
