Never look down on people only when you are helping them up

mick02

I've used them a few times. I have no complaints.

They used to be in the forum but asked to be removed , see them active elsewhere and on twitter

Qs

If you are buying from the homebrew shops in Ireland you should join the NHC. You'll get a discount code on every HBS in the ROI and usually save the price of membership in a couple of orders.

aweisse

ive tried, and the discounts gone.

Mixed feedback on them.
I found them to be OK - anything I ordered was delivered.
Others here have had issues.
They recently opted out of NHC so no discount is offered.
My recommendation is to support anyone that supports the NHC if you can.

I used them a few times and got tired of getting phone calls telling me something I'd ordered was out of stock (despite being clearly marked as in stock on their site).

Yes, 24hr support.
Sometimes that 4am opinion may be the most honest, just not the most coherent.

But definitely the most fun to read

:) I only use them for the wyeast orders these days, as they invariably get some part of my order wrong and are slower to rectify.
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

It's generally been wyeast items that I get the call about. "we don't have x, will you take y" well, no because the only reason I ordered with you is because your site stated x was in stock. Shoddy.

Bugger. Anywhere else to get Wyeast? They have a few yeasts that are just different to White Labs...

Wonder if we showed a demand would shane be able to get them into HBC?

Always mess something up with my order. Sent me two out of date liquid yeasts with my last order and have not replied to the two emails Ive sent. Im finished with them anyway.
