Brewcon 2017, the Best Ever

So who isn't going to Brewcon and why not? That line up this year is something else, nobody in a homebrew conference in Europe has that calibre of speakers and I hear the value of the goodies like last year is the same as the ticket price! There will also be some special big spot prizes for you as a brewer and also for you and your missus.
If you are on the fence or never been before no matter what level of brewing you are at don't even blink, ticket sales are going well for members and recent spurt of non member sales happening now as well. Of course we'd love to see more members than non members go as it's your club and your event.
Most of all it's a great opportunity to learn and share thoughts ideas and this year beer from different clubs.
I'll certainly be annoying those Wee County fellas for trade secrets.
So this weekend be nice to her and ask can she spare you for a Saturday at the end of April.

Slides/notes being made available afterwards would be great but I understand not everyone wants to give that detail out.

I'm not going because my son's birthday is the 29th, he will be 3. I don't want to miss the party.

I've asked about attending for the evening part, but was shot down basically.

Last year I made a suggestion for notes from speakers as it was impossible to write down as they were speaking. Or re oRd it maybe.  Also if Rosa sits down and chats to Alex again this year can we ALL get a beer to open 😂😂😂

I agree with you on the notes, issue is the speakers don't want to part with their work, not all of them mind!
I gather some were approached last year and info was mailed on.

Its fairly typical if you are being paid to speak somewhere to provide your notes though. Every guest speaker I ever attended in an academic setting provided either links or a mailing list for their notes.

Apparently promoted content is good for advertising events. We seem to get a lot more hits from using it anyway and it only costs a few quid.

Its our bread & butter to get word out there. FB have a lot of options for you to customize what you see & don't see.
