Hello from kildare

Heya guys, i'm dave from kildare
For the past few years we've been brewin kits, nothing special, and collecting elderberry/ flower for making red and white wine... we're not much of red wine drinkers so that has been used for marinating or given to friends for their night time tipple.... our next logical step though is trying BIAB which we are are hoping to set ourselves up for this year (providing funds allow) but we are hoping to give hopps a try too.
Anyways i'm off for a browse and maybe pick up a few tips & tricks

Hey Davey, welcome to the forum. Where in kildare are you based? We have a meet up in lock 13 in sallins on the first Friday of every month. If you're up in North Kildare then liffey brewers are based out of Lucan (I think) but I would not recommend associating yourself with them 

We also have a WhatsApp group where we share info etc. If you want me to add you to it just pm me your number.

Oh i'm sure i will have plenty of questions and hopefully i can help out too with the little i  do know, i have just planted 2 cascade rhizomes i got in mottly brew so hopefully they'll develope.... it'll enchourage me to even get a partial mash kit so thats the plan.... sometimes good to have a plan haha
Hey mick i'm in ballymore eustace so not too far from sallins... i'll have to get more details sometime on the meet up because i'm not drivin at the moment pal.... i'm not on whatsapp which is unfortunate because alot of content these days seems to be kept mainly for whatsapp users... i'll have a think about joining but i have like the facebook page the past good while

We try to keep the Club page on this forum up to date about meet ups and events but most of the chatter goes on in WhatsApp. We've got a few of the lads on the group that have grown/are growing their own hops. Maybe they can help you out if you're stuck. Give @motorbikeman or @BeerBuddah a shout.
