I brewed this up a couple of weeks ago and I am really happy with  it.
Nice simple recipe packed with flavor
Low ABV 4.3%

Type: All Grain
Batch Size: 23.00 l
Boil Size: 25.85 l
Boil Time: 60 min
End of Boil Vol: 23.96 l
Final Bottling Vol: 21.00 l
Fermentation: Ale, Two Stage

Mash Ingredients

3.50 kg Minch Pale Malt (5.0 EBC) Grain 1 70.0 %
1.50 kg Brown Malt (128.1 EBC) Grain 2 30.0 %

Mash Steps


Mash In Add 13.04 l of water and heat to 67.0 C
◯ Add water to achieve boil volume of 25.85 l
◯ Estimated pre-boil gravity is 1.044 SG

Boil Ingredients

40.00 g East Kent Goldings (EKG) [5.00 %] - Boil 60.0 min  23.3 IBUs
35.00 g East Kent Goldings (EKG) [5.00 %] - Boil 5.0 min 4.1 IBUs
◯ Estimated Post Boil Vol: 23.96 l and Est Post Boil Gravity: 1.049 SG

Fermentation Ingredients

1.0 pkg English Ale B4 (Bulldog #) Yeast 5 -

Really happy with it. Lovely brown / batch bread crust flavor and aroma.
Yeast I was very surprised with. Decent English profile and flocks very clear.
Could easily see this one being permanently on draft.

With slight dilution this beer scored a 44 in today's north county brewers low abv comp.
First place overall.  :)

'Twas a lovely brew. Really surprised by the yeast as well - those bulldog yeasts are very interesting.

What temp did you pitch and ferment at? Use much aeration?
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter
