Carboy bung fell into carboy.

I pushed the rubber bung in too far after transferring a beer to a secondary carboy tonight. Unfortunately it was full of beer at the time. Will there be any ill effects from leaving the rubber bung in the beer? Its a Brett Saison with some Orval Dregs in it. Should I just transfer to another carboy, or will it be OK? Had planned on leaving it a few more months at least.

Any nasties that were on the bung are in the beer now. I'd probably just add another bung and hope for the best.

The bung was starsanned. Besides nasties will the bung itself affect the beer?
