Hi All

As a treat, Today I was taken out to the Porter House for lunch.

I havent really been out for proper pints in ages

Imagine my joy when the first thing I see is Pilsner Urquel on draught followed closely by Vienna dark lager and then Galway hooker all this amongst the usual porter house offerings!

So, I decided on Pilsner.  Happy days!!

All of a suden I notice out of the corner of my eye, some pump action going on
Straight back to the bar to see a hand pump with a 12 days badge by Hook and norton.
Quickly changed my order

I was served a beautifully pulled pint of creamy joy!!!

After some food, was told "sure, you might as well have another"

However, the second pint! not so good. I went back to the original barman. Didnt say a word to me, took pint and dumped half and repaired the damage.  Fair play to him!

A little training goes a long way. Yum-yum..
