So I have 13kg of crushed grain in a sealed grain sack I ordered back in April, unfortunately due to moving house I never got round to using it. Now I have finally moved into the new house I was gonna do a brew this weekend, question is use this or bin it! I opened the bag today and it looks and smells fine, I no I should prob bin it and order more grain but what's the worst that could happen? It was for an imperial stout!

Probably somewhat Okish (Am I covered there?!)
Is kept cool over the period it should be OK in an Imperial Stout.
In a pale you could get sme aging coming through.
Go for it, and watch for any offs.
Then Learn.

Definitely report back here with the outcome.

It's been sitting in a cupboard! May aswell just use it, gonna try to do a New England ipa the same day so I'll at least get something out of the brew day.

Grab some and give it a chew. If it is crispy then I'd say it is still good. If it's soft then dump it.
