Can someone tell me if this is decent or not? I'm slowly getting a keg together.

I think it's expensive for 1.5kg ajedge in bray will ship 1.5kg for around €50. But that being said I bought the 6.35kg bottle off iedepot because I live hours away from any other source of co2 and I felt the refill price was good.

Donny, I think you should be looking at the bigger bottle if you're setup can accommodate it.  A 5kg bottle would normally last me over a year, carbonating 2 kegs at a time. There are probably cheaper options out there but it really depends on your location. I'm in Mayo so I have very few options. For me, around €50 a year isn't too bad.

I was just thinking about getting the 6.35kg bottle as well but the €100 deposit is putting me off...I know I'll never get it back as long as I keep drinking beer  :o :o :o.  I have a few empty modified Fire Extinguishers, does anyone know if this crowd would re-fill them and save me paying the deposit?

Fal, if memory serves me right you're from Mayo too?  I'm heading up to Dublin over the Christmas so I could get out to AJ Edge in Bray and refill the Fire Extinguishers if you want to take one of them....not even sure if they would refill them???  Offer is open to you too Donny if you're close by or anyone else.

Thanks a million Richie, I bought that 6.35kg bottle and there's still plenty left (I know that I will go home tonight and it will be empty because I've typed this!). I've started priming the kegs with sugar now and this reduces the amount of C02 I'm using also. But I really appreciate the offer.
