Perforated Stainless steel Sheet.

I have decided to put a false bottom into my Cool Box Mash Tun as part of a re-circulation system I am planning, but obtaining the perforated stainless steel sheet is proving impossible.
I first tried steel suppliers who only wanted to sell me a large sheet for around e200 so I tried febrication companies but when I told them I just wanted an offcut (32cm x 22cm) the answers ranged from unhelpful to just plane rude. So I then tried the internet and found some suppliers that could supply but wanted e10 delivery (That's just crazy)
Does anyone know where I can get something that would suit at a reasonable price.

You could use a copper manifold.

What sort of size are you looking for? Have you just considered buying a false bottom like one of these (the ones towards the end of the page)?

Might be of use, depends on the size of your mash tun but could be cut to size.

                         I have taken a look at the Nisbets site and the Vogue Stainless Steel perforated 1/2 Gastronorm Pan looks just the job. I will be contact them today.
