For free home made mash tun

Hi there,

Calling all lovers of both bodging and beer making. I have a home made mashtun free to a good home. It's made from a stainless steel container and has a bottom drain. I fabricated a home made mash filter a Lidl candle tray and a commercial grade stainless steel slotted filter. It's insulated with about 4" of polyurethane insulation around the side and with fire proof expanda foam insulation on the bottom. The tun is supported by 4 hex bolts drilled in to the bottom skirt. It's rough and ready but I have also done 50 plus beers on it over 4 years.

It holds temperature really well and I am only passing it on because i have been given a thermopot of equal size. Anybody interested please indicate here and I will send on a PM with photos as I would prefer not to expose my handiwork to general comment 😏
