Saw this stuff in Dunnes no optical brighteners or perfume mentioned. I might pick it up next time, and it it's not suitable I'm sure I'll find another use for it.

Saw that in Dunnes the other day as well. The barcode doesn't work on the site listed at the bottom the label though, so I chickened out.

Anyone more knowledgeable have any thoughts? It looks promising.

Not sure how it compares in price to the W5 stuff but it seems like decent value. Got some at the weekend and cleaned my keg and FV with it. I had no idea my FV was that manky until I used it. Whoops.

I got Astonish in a dealz type sttore in Letterkenny. Its non perfumed and great, but not as obviously reactive in terms of oxidation as the old W5 OXy.

Whats the size of your vessels and what ratio did you use?

Well the fella that originally put me onto it said he uses 1 scoop per 2 litres of warm water. And 2 scoops per 2 litres if you really need to shift something that's caked on.

I have 2 x 5 litre plastic FV's and 2 x 19 litre corny kegs.

You obviously don't need to fill either of these types of vessels to the brim with water. I used 2 scoops and about 4 litres of hot water when cleaning my keg. Because of the design of the keg, it acts like a thermos, so the water stays warm for hours. I was faffing around doing other stuff so the stuff had hours to work its magic. But in reality, you could clean the keg properly in about 10 minutes.
