Craft Beer

Hi I was wondering if you guys could point be in the direction of some good craft breweries in the Dublin and Belfast area. I am a brewer living in China and will be home for a few weeks and was hoping to taste some nice interesting beer.

Also is there any upcoming events during May that I should look for?

hi enda- when will u b in Belfast? we will have a meet in May, although we haven't a date yet- should have a date by this weekend.

In Belfast (city), off the top of my head- Hudson bar (behind castle court), the sunflower (new spot) and bittles. I'm sure I'm leaving loads out

Unfortunately there are no craft breweries in Dublin city, on the outskirts you will fond porterhouse but you would need to arrange a visit with them as they are not open to the public.

In terms of events there should be some visible in our calendar and these will get updated over the coming weeks.

If you just want to meet for a pint, post on here and you should get someone out for one or two!

Guys thanks a mil for this. Is there anything else you recommend I do in relation to craft beer while at home. Is there any maltsters or interesting homebrew shops I should call into? I will keep an eye on the calender for any upcoming events in May.
