Something that drove me mad

Tonight watching another beer review on You tube I noticed something. While the guy was swirling the glass of beer. Poking his nose in, extracting the smell, coffee, burnt oak and all that malarkey. I spied in one corner on top of a new plastic bucket fermenter two books.
"Yeast" and "Brewing Classical styles". They were in perfect condition , in fact they looked brand new, never read. Mine which are by my side nearly all the time , are dog eared, the covers might be a bit sticky. Each page well read, future brew days planned and dreamed. Beers tasted while looking back over the recipe, wondering did my forced yeast choice really change what the author meant.
I don't know why those books sitting there in perfect condition while their owner ranted on about some flavors he was expecting to find in a beer annoyed me. I am mad, if so what should i read next.

I remember growing up and reading the comics of some mates who collected comics, they were well read, but you had to almost wear gloves to turn the pages they were so picky, some people keep their stuff better.....
