Hi Lads - I've got a bottling problem  :(
I have a standard black two levered bottle capper that has started to snap the heads off my glass bottles  >:(
I've had it a couple of years and not sure whether to just replace it with a youngs one (exactly the same) or upgrade.
Any suggestions or can anyone recommend a good one.
I don't have the space to keg at the moment so will be carrying on bottling.
Thanks in advance

spend the extra €20 and get a bench capper.
if u do big bottles you might consider getting one where u can swap the bell to 29mm. otherwise get whichever one the homebrew shops have.

Rossa

Bench capper.  Pretty much the best HB buy you can have.

Thanks for the replies - that was quick!
Do you have recommendations or any particular one that is good?

loftybush

I'd agree with all above.

There is no comparison between the one posted above and the two handle capper.
There isn't a bottle I've found that the bench capper cant cap!

Two levered cappers have a fairly short life span. The bit that grips the bottle starts to wear out after a few brews; that's why your bottles are starting to break. You'll never regret spending €35 on a bench capper, it will save you money in the long run

I am waiting 2 weeks for a benchcapper delivery into the HBCompany, coming from China of course.
