Anyone know if this was on RTE yesterday, or if it's going to be on in the future?

I think it's funny on a few accounts...
Who the hell is Paul?
The link to the home brew centre is now home brew west.
The ICB link is Beoir.
It's gone out on RTE with NO hint as to when it's going to be on again. (Player?)

LordEoin

it's not on the player. It just says that it is/was on a sunday at half eight.
And leave Paul alone, he's a good guy, and a legend at all sorts of things like brewing on RTE.
I heard he once wrestled a grizzly bear and killed it with his teeth, then turned him into wine.
in fact, here's a different documentary about him LINK

I have no doubt Paul is super, and we need him on Here.
RTE are leaving out a lot of important detail.
I've emailed them, will post answers here.

I work in RTE and to me that looks like an old page.  I'll have a look through the publishing system and see if I can find out any more though.
In primary:
In secondary: Wine, Melomel
In keg: Teddy Hopper, Coconut stout, 4 Cs, Buzz bomb, Never Sierra, Bock, OD
In the fridge: Helles Lager, Hob Gob

It's a show called Highly Recommended.  It was broadcast in December 2007.  It may have been repeated since then but not recently.  I'm guessing it came up in google or something?  You shouldn't be able to get to that from the main site...

Great homework Paul.
That would explain the outdated links!

DEMPSEY

A couple of years back RTE's "Ear to the ground" programme did a story on a guy who had a farm and planned a micro brewery,I think he was called Rupert.

That woould be Rupert nephew of Darina Allen (or some relation)
The same lad was going to grow Hops, start a brewery etc.
I'm not sure what became of any of it.

You probably mean this fella
Yeah that's him, around 2007/8 he was on RTE and they bring in someone to run a cost analysis on the feasibility of his business plan.
