South Kildare first beer using our hops heading for RDS

First hops from our garden are on the way to the RDS in a keg of beer.

Thought it would be nice to launch our 2013 hop programme by dry hopping the english mild with Hallertaur & Saaz.

many of you have seen the hop garden and hopefully the flavour matches the visual.

I have added 3 apple size (according to Tube anyways) Hallertauer Aroma cones and 3 avocado size Saaz cones.
Does not seem like a lot however have a look at the 3 inch t-liathrodi and if ye were here to witness the aroma its only magic .
Ive had the first glass of the dry hopped 3% English ale and I hope ye enjoy a taste at rds
