My own capper gave up on me too.
It seems that the plastic ones aren't wuite strong enough.
It lasted about 40 brews.
I bought a new metal one today and it looks like it might see me out.

If the metal one Is Italian origin, it's the one that's dodgy on wycherley bottles.
