Howdy Folks,

Great to find some where to gain some knowledge from experienced brewers. Last Xmas I got a great gift of a coopers start up brewing kit, firstly I tried the kit brew of canadian blonde and it was horrible, After that I went straight in to extract and successfully have made 2 batches of a Pale Ale, went down well amongst friends.

Gonna purchase a mash tun in the coming weeks and wanted some guidance/help on All Grain Brewing so here I am.

Will be back soon with questions and all help greatly appreciated

Welcome Gugs!
There's a few other Kerry lads on here. Post your whereabouts, you never know how close someone might be.

Cheers Johnrm,

Do ye run nights in Cork for meet ups and discussions?

johnrm

Well, thats the plan, but unfortunately Cork is huge, so we're well dispersed.
We're all family men to boot, so busy busy!

I was at the Franciscan Well in Cork one night a while ago and there was a group of home brewers had a meeting there, think the club is called the Lee Valley brewing club or something similar. Not sure if they are a separate organization.

There is a discussion on the Cork (Rebel Brewers) forum about meeting dates looks like the next one won't be until october http://www.nationalhomebrewclub.com/forum/index.php/topic,3629.15.html
