Arthur's Day postponed

Was in a local pub recently, one I don't go to that often, maybe once every 2 months.

Asked for a pint of Guinness and a Rebel Red. "On the house"  I asked why "Rough crowd arrived in after a funeral on Arthur's Day so we postponed it"

I had to laugh, but fair play.

Fair play. Last year in the B&C I may have dished out a few pints of craft and rung them in under pints of free Guinness.
