I'm working on getting to 5k at the moment. Good luck with it, I'll try to sponsor by end of month. In fact if you want to remind me by PM after the 25th, I'll get on it.

Sent using a complex system of semaphore and ninjas.

The weather is not looking good for it. Starting to feel pretty nervous now.

Oh God it was so awful! I finally crossed the line after 4:49:09 and was definitely feeling a little the worse for wear. I managed to run the first 19 or so miles but then my knees went on strike and I just had to walk and watch the world go by. I walked about 4-5 miles in the end (from Clonskeagh road, up behind UCD past RTE and didn't start running again until the RDS). The crowd were really great. I was feeling really crippled but they would shout out people's names because the organisers cleverly thought to put your name on your little race number. The crowd could see who needed a little encouragement and single them out. Loads of little fellas were holding out their hands to high five you as well. I would have walked more were it not for the crowd. On the last stretch especially I was just dying to walk/hobble to the finish line but so many people were there shouting and cheering you on that it was hard not to make that last extra effort.

I feel like I need panelbeating now. Cheers for everyone who sponsored me.
