Hi guys

As I mentioned in another post we recently had a 5KG order of Cluster come in.

Needless to say that is a lot of hops and as you can see from the pic the package was a monster!

Since you guys helped out when I was stuck I'll bring a few to the meetup on Friday for anyone who is interested :)

They are in zip locked bags (still need to get my hands on a vacuum packer) ranging between 200g and 300g.

The porter we brewed at the weekend is the first time we've used this variety ourselves.  But for anyone wondering they are quite an old variety with a lot of history (some interesting reading on Google) and have been described as rustic (a bit rough around the edges).  Suggestions for use are in pilsners, lagers and porters.  They smell wonderful and I shall be able to let you know how they taste in a few weeks.

Cheers!

 :o Haha Brilliant!

I sure hope you've got a nice production line going with that amount of hops! Took ages doing that 5kg on my own ;D

Your group buys are looking pretty impressive.  You may sway me yet  :D

Hi Matthew

I don't want anything :) They are free.  I'll never be able to use/store them all so I may as well share them out. I'll stick your name on a bag.
