Anyone any recommendations? I need a bottle small enough to fit permanently in my chest freezer alongside four cornies. I reckon a 2Kg bottle would do the trick. Cheers

What about decanting to a soda stream bottle?

Dr Jacoby

I'm not sure what you mean. I need the bottle in the chest freezer with the kegs to keep them carbonated during lagering. Not sure if there is any other way to do this.

Tubes right you don't get any benefit out of that apart from tidying around the fridge area for swmbo
You also have the potential to have condensation on your dials  :(
I have a small squat 2 kg tank from norm but it's only for parties or emergencies.
Who did I get a 2 kg tank here for recently, anyway AJ edge have them but they are tallish and pencil like rather than squatty, if you are getting one ask him did he get new consignment of valves in and let us all know as he had a dodgy batch:(.

Edit I remembered it was Partridge, mr P can you advise dimensions of your tank for Dr J

Put a 5Kg outside your chest freezer and feed in a pipe through a small hole?

I had considered this but I was hoping to avoid it if possible. It might end up being the easiest option though.

I have the small shiny polished one Cider, stainless valve and all.
It was from the Aquarium shop at Red Cow. Prob is they are expensive (129 euros) and cost the same to fill even tho they are only 2.4kg of gas.
