There's a hole in my bucket

Just a quick note to say a big 'Thanks' to Homebrewwest.

I ordered the Brewferm malt mill from them as a Christmas present from the missus back in November. I liked the idea that, for the same price as other places, they threw in a free 25L bucket.

I only got around to opening my 'present' a couple of days after Christmas, to discover that the bottom of the bucket was cracked, most likely due to the weight of the mill impacting it in transit.

I mailed Homebrewwest and within a few days they'd sent out a replacement bucket. No fuss. No third degree, just respect and great service.

Believe me, this has not always been my experience; I had one homebrew supplier in England quiz me as to why I took so long to inform them that a bung for an Easykeg that I'd paid for (only 50p, but I still needed the thing) hadn't been delivered with the keg. Made me feel like a right criminal. Just because I didn't open the package until I needed it. When he finally believed me he promised he'd send it out with a subsequent order. He didn't. Never used them again, and all because they chose to quibble over a 50p bung.

Anyway, that was my first experience with HBW, and it wont be my last.
