Doh ! : Anyway OP would get carboys in same place i am sure, if they have restocked them, if not try the other home brew shops i reckon.

I was hoping someone maybe had an excess of demijohns somewhere in the back of the shed kind of thing :-) Just starting out and wanna keep cost down.

If you want to keep costs down would you not consider a bucket FV, arround 15 euros from a home brew shop ?

A demijohn is a measure of 1 gallon. It's a carboy you want.
