Probably a stupid question, but here goes!

What do you use these vials for? I've never harvested yeast but I want to start and have access to a large supply of these tubes! From reading about harvesting, I'm probably going to go with this method:

However, any walk-throughs I've come across store the  yeast in mason jars. So, at the end of the harvesting process, do you just transfer the yeast slurry to these small vials? Is there a minimum amount of water you should keep the yeast under?
