I believe Eoin was going to ask his wife (she of the BIAB bags/Hop Bags/Etc) to look into this

I also would like one as I'm sure a few other carboy owners would

So:

Why waste $20 on a ready made webbing harness from the US when you can waste a lot more money, time and effort making your own ;)

Rule 1: Buy webbing online at about £10 for 50 meteres (of 25 mm) not the €2 a metere I paid in a yacht chandlers :(

Rule 2: Get someone else to make it. Took about 10 man hours to knock this up!!

Rule 3: Learn to use a sewing machine a long time ago and use it every daty. Starting from scratch is a learning experience.

Any ways here is the approx design and some photos.

Used about 6 metres of 25 mm polypropylene webbing.

[@ mention of plastic stuff:  @CH: Its blue, very pretty but is it FG?? ]

There is a third handle on the bottom to help when lifting onto a bench. All dimesions are approximate and adjust to fit you 'boy:

So why only 3 (admittedly lovely) kids then so?

Ah !! Light Bulb moment: You started to homebrew!!

Best form of RC approved contaception:

1. You are too busy in the daytime
2. To knackered early evenning
3. Pissed by bed time.
4. Still limp in the morning

Err hang on a moment! All the above also sound like old age!
