what do you do with your first pint

When you have a Goo on you for your first pint and it is presented to you at the bar,
do you take the religious approach and bless it first or
take the Klingon warrior approach and recant the quote "today is a good day to die"or
do you take the Ronny Corbet (AKA the 2 Ronnies) approach and just say sorry
before you murder the pint.

If I have a proper goo on, then it's unceremoniously dispatched in two to three draws. I can slow down after that.

I thought getting the goo referred to something altogether different :
